About Aquairpure

AquaAirPure is an independent guide to the two machines that clean what you breathe and drink: air purifiers and water filters. We explain how they work, what the certifications on the box actually mean, and which products are worth your money for a specific room, pollutant, or water problem.

We started the site because most of the information on these products comes from the people selling them. “Up to 1,000 sq ft” coverage claims, “99.9% of contaminants” badges, and “tested to NSF standards” labels all sound reassuring. Very few of them tell you what you need to know. Our job is to translate those claims into plain English and check them against independent data before you buy.

Who runs AquaAirPure

AquaAirPure is run by Dhiraj and aniket, based in india.

They saw that air and water are very important aspects of life and in India the air pollution is just way beyond their imagination so we decided to guide people about these two essentials so that consumers don’t get confused while buying the air purifier and water purifiers.

We Hire Individual writers and reviewers to write our articles.

What we cover

Air purifiers. Portable HEPA and carbon purifiers, how to size one to your room using CADR, which technologies are safe (and which produce ozone), how to cut running costs, and which models suit mold, smoke, pets, allergies, nurseries, and more.

Water filters and purifiers. Pitchers, faucet filters, under-sink and countertop reverse osmosis, UV systems, whole-house filters, and softeners. We start with the most important step most buyers skip: finding out what is actually in your water.

Head-to-head comparisons. Two models, or two technologies, compared on one fixed template: verified specs, certifications, yearly filter cost, noise, energy use, and who each one suits.

Tips and maintenance. Placement, filter schedules, cleaning, and the common mistakes that make a purifier or filter work worse than it should.

What makes our advice different

We separate verified facts from marketing. A CADR figure listed in the AHAM Verifide directory, a listing on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified air cleaner list, or an NSF, WQA, or IAPMO certification listing is a verified fact. A number that only appears on a product page is a manufacturer claim, and we label it that way.

We check certifications at the source. We look products up in the official databases rather than trusting a logo on a product page, and we note the date we checked.

We are honest about how we test. Right now our recommendations are based on manufacturer specifications, official certification databases, and published independent test data, and we say so on every review. When we run our own hands-on tests, we publish the method, equipment, room size, date, and conditions so you can judge the results yourself. We never describe a product as “tested” unless we tested it. Read How We Test Air Purifiers and How We Test Water Filters.

We show our math. When a formula exists, we work through it with real numbers: CADR for your room size, air changes per hour, filter cost per year, gallons per day, and reverse osmosis waste-water ratio.

We do not make health promises. Air purifiers and water filters can reduce specific pollutants. They do not cure or prevent disease, and no filter removes “100%” of anything. Where a topic touches health, we point you to medical and public-health sources and suggest you talk with your doctor.

How we stay independent

AquaAirPure earns money through affiliate links. If you buy a product through a link on our site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That income pays for research, test equipment, and the time it takes to keep guides current.

Commissions never decide which products we recommend or how we rank them. We do not accept payment for placement, and we do not let brands review or approve our articles before publication.

If a brand sends us a product for free, we say so in the review, and add it as a sponsored review

Full details are in our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy and Standards.

How we keep content accurate

Standards change. For example, PFAS reduction claims for water filters used to be certified under a separate NSF protocol (P473) and now sit inside NSF/ANSI 53 and 58. Federal drinking water rules and air cleaner efficiency rules have also changed in the last few years. We review every evergreen guide at least once a year and update the “last reviewed” date only when we have actually re-checked the facts.

If you spot an error, tell us. We correct mistakes promptly and note significant corrections at the bottom of the article.
